Baby Bjorn

Björn Jakobson founded BABYBJÖRN AB in Sweden in 1961 as a family company dedicated to developing innovative products for infants and toddlers. From the beginning, BABYBJÖRN has placed high demands on safety, quality, function and design on all of its products. The company has always worked closely with industrial designers, medical experts and test institutes to ensure that its products meet the highest functional and safety criteria. Today, the rapidly growing company exports to over 25 countries and has annual sales of SEK 259 million (2004). The company is still family owned and operated.

To Björn Jakobson, babies and children have always come first and foremost. With four children and numerous grandchildren of his own, he and his wife, textile designer Lillemor Jakobson, have managed to combine theory and practice with BABYBJÖRN products.
